SMPM connectors (Mini SMP, SSMP, GPPO®), push-on (snap-on) connectors, operate in the DC to 65 GHz frequency range. Developed in the 1990s and later standardized according to MIL-STD-348A figure 328, they are 30% smaller than SMP connectors, meeting the requirements of high-density miniaturization.
They are available in two retention versions:
– Full detent (maximum retention)
– Smooth bore (low retention with increased durability)
