SMB (SubMiniature B) connectors are coaxial connectors developed in the 1960s. Featuring a snap-in mechanism, these connectors are available in 50 Ω and 75 Ω impedance versions. They offer good electrical performance up to 4 GHz.
A miniaturized version, called SSMB and compliant with the IEC 169-19 standard, is also available.
