Hytem bets on decarbonization to boost its competitiveness
In the latest issue of En Essonne Réussir, published by the Essonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Essonne), Hytem stands out for its concrete commitment to energy transition and industrial performance.
🎯 A dual challenge: competitiveness and carbon footprint
Aware of both environmental and economic stakes, Alain Désiré, CEO of Hytem, launched a gradual carbon footprint reduction initiative three years ago. The company first invested in LED lighting and hybrid vehicles for its sales teams.
In 2024, Hytem is taking a step further through the “Industrial Competitiveness and Decarbonization” initiative, supported by CCI Essonne and European funds. Two areas of focus are currently underway:
Energy transition: An ongoing audit conducted by CCI’s industrial advisor will help identify tangible areas for improvement.
Productivity: Cetim (Technical Center for Mechanical Industries) is auditing production flows in preparation for the upcoming implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
These initiatives aim to make Hytem a more agile, responsible, and high-performing company, while paving the way for a more innovative and sustainable French industry.
